Support / Servo Tuning Assistant Settings

In addition to the fully automated fuctionality provided by Tuning Assistant, the program also offers users the ability to manually change the tuning parameters and specify desired performance tradeoffs.

From the Setup Menu, the user can select either the Options Dialog or the Motion Parameter Dialog. Both dialog boxes allow the user to easily set or change:

Maximum settling time
Maximum Target Range
Velocity, Acceleration, Deceleration
Move Distance
Amplifier type
Responsiveness (Stiff, Medium, Soft)
Use Feed Forward (Vel, Accel, Decel)
Integral Gain Mode
Display Step Response
Disable diagnostic 'warning' messages
